This assistant answers from the chamber specifications and technical notes published on this site. It covers the environmental test chamber lines listed below; it has no access to your laboratory or to unpublished configurations.
What you can ask
- Which chamber type suits a standard such as GB/T, GJB, IEC 60068, MIL-STD-810 or JEDEC JESD22
- Working volume, temperature range, ramp rate and humidity range for each chamber line
- How much altitude a low-pressure chamber has to reach, and how altitude converts to pressure
- How a thermal vacuum chamber differs from an altitude chamber
- Thermal shock compared with rapid temperature change, and which profile fits which test
- What information to send us for a non-standard chamber
- How to allow for a specimen that generates its own heat
Answers are generated from the specification tables and notes published on this site and may be incomplete or out of date. For a firm configuration, price and delivery, send the test standard, the specimen dimensions and the required temperature or pressure range to Sales@testeqglobal.com or through the contact page.
Frequently asked questions
Can the assistant give a price?
No. The price depends on the configuration — chamber size, temperature range, ramp rate, vacuum system and options — and is quoted by our engineers. Use the assistant for the technical fit, then send the details for a quotation.
Thermal shock chamber or rapid temperature change chamber?
A thermal shock chamber moves the specimen between two temperature zones, so the specimen sees a near-step change. A rapid temperature change chamber changes one chamber’s air temperature at a controlled rate. Choose by the profile your standard specifies and by whether the specimen can be moved during the test; the technical note compares both.
What does an altitude chamber add over a temperature chamber?
It adds controlled low pressure, so temperature and pressure are applied together — the combination used for aviation, automotive and electronics work at altitude. The pressure range sets the simulated altitude, and the technical note covers the conversion.
What do you need from me for a non-standard chamber?
Specimen dimensions and mass, any heat load, the test standard and profile, the temperature and humidity or pressure range, available floor space and power supply, and the access needed for cabling and fixtures. Send these and we reply with a configuration proposal.
