Environmental Test Chamber Price and Quotation

An environmental test chamber is a configured machine, not a catalogue item, so there is no single list price that applies to every customer. Two chambers of the same nominal size can differ widely in cost once the temperature range, ramp rate, humidity system, low-pressure system and control options are fixed. TestEQ prices each chamber from the configuration agreed with the customer, and the figure is confirmed in a written quotation with the technical specification attached.

What drives the price of a chamber

  • Working volume. The internal volume sets the wall area, insulation, door size and the refrigeration capacity required. Published chamber volumes run from 100 L to 12,000 L.
  • Temperature range and ramp rate. A wider range and a faster ramp rate need more refrigeration and a larger condenser. Rapid temperature change chambers are built for rates up to 30 °C/min; a standard temperature and humidity chamber is not.
  • Humidity system. Adding controlled humidity brings a steam or water system, a demineralised water supply and its own control loop.
  • Low-pressure or vacuum system. Altitude (low-pressure) and thermal vacuum chambers add a vacuum pump set, vacuum measurement and an interlock between pressure and temperature control.
  • Combined testing. Vibration, altitude or a second temperature zone carried in the same chamber increases both the mechanical design and the control work.
  • Control, records and safety. Programmable controllers, data logging, alarm handling, door interlocks and the safety provisions a standard requires.
  • Quantity, delivery and site. One-off and repeat builds are priced differently, and installation, commissioning and operator training are quoted with the machine.

What we need in order to quote

Send the following and the engineering team can price the chamber without a round of clarification:

  • the test standard and test method, for example IEC 60068-2-1 or MIL-STD-810;
  • the specimen: dimensions, mass and any heat it produces while running;
  • the temperature range and the ramp rate you need, with the tolerance the standard allows;
  • the humidity range or the pressure and altitude range, if the test uses them;
  • the chamber volume or the loading arrangement you have in mind;
  • the power supply, floor space and access available on site.

What the quotation covers

A TestEQ quotation states the agreed configuration, the published performance figures for the machine, the scope of supply, and the commercial terms. Factory acceptance testing before shipment, installation and commissioning, operator training, the warranty period and the spare-parts arrangement are listed separately so the total is clear.

How to get a quotation

Send the test details through the contact page or to Sales@testeqglobal.com . To narrow the options first, the product range lists each chamber line with its published specifications, and the AI assistant answers questions about which chamber fits a given standard.

Prices are quoted per project and are not published on this site.

Tell us the test standard and the specimen

Send the standard, the specimen size and heat load, the temperature or pressure range. Our engineers will come back with a chamber configuration.
