Altitude (Low-pressure) Test Chamber — EQT Series

The TestEQ EQT-series altitude test chamber reproduces controlled high-altitude environmental conditions for product development, qualification, reliability testing and research. Instead of testing at an actual high-altitude location, the chamber reduces atmospheric pressure to a defined condition in a controlled laboratory. The control parameter is absolute pressure; altitude is used as the equivalent environmental reference.

Applications

  • Aviation and aerospace equipment and instruments
  • Electronics and electromechanical components for high-altitude use
  • Automotive and EV components for altitude and pressure conditions
  • Materials, seals and packaging
  • Research and system-level test articles

Configuration and features

  • Wide altitude simulation range: 0 to 50,000 ft (0–15,000 m).
  • Precise pressure regulation: ±0.1 kPa.
  • Combined temperature and humidity control can be configured with pressure simulation.
  • Pressure control tolerance ≤ ±5 kPa across 40 kPa to 4 kPa, and ≤ ±0.1 kPa across 4 kPa to 1 kPa.
  • Fast depressurisation: 75.2 kPa to 18.8 kPa within ≤ 15 s (optional), and within ≤ 0.1 s (optional) for specific configurations.
  • Humidity range 10 % to 98 % RH; humidity deviation ≤ ±2.0 to 3.0 % RH (above 75 % RH) and ≤ ±5.0 % RH (≤ 75 % RH).
  • For large products, assemblies and system-level test articles, customised and walk-in altitude chambers can be developed around the required test volume, pressure range, temperature conditions and laboratory workflow.
  • Patent number CN202310792763.3.

Notes: external dimensions and noise level exclude the vacuum pump unit (operating temperature range −40 °C to +85 °C). Optional low-pressure and low-temperature humidity control equipment is available. Other dimensions are customisable; detailed parameters require contact with the sales team. Actual performance depends on chamber size, test load, heat generation, required pressure and customer test profile.

For engineering procurement, specify the minimum pressure requirement in absolute pressure units such as kPa or Pa, and use equivalent altitude as a secondary reference.
