The TestEQ EWTH-series walk-in environmental chamber provides a large test volume for bulky or heavy products and system-level test items. TestEQ builds walk-in rooms in assembled-panel and fully welded constructions: because polyurethane panel insulation is limited to a maximum of 85 °C, a fully welded structure is used where a higher temperature range, faster temperature change rate or high-temperature high-humidity conditions are required.

Configuration and features
- Standard volumes from 7.8 m³ to 44.1 m³, and larger custom rooms; large walk-in temperature-humidity systems can be customised up to 4500 m³.
- Temperature range -20 °C to +85 °C, -40 °C to +85 °C or -65 °C to +85 °C, depending on model; higher-temperature and high-temperature high-humidity versions are available in the welded construction.
- Assembled-panel construction for standard conditions; fully welded construction for higher temperatures, faster temperature change rates and high-temperature high-humidity testing.
- Rooms can be engineered to a customer’s own requirements, including access doors, observation windows, personnel access and load handling.
- Refrigeration and control systems are configured together with the test load and required ramp rates.

Additional volumes and temperature ranges are engineered to order. Temperature change rates such as +25 → -20 °C and +25 → -40 °C are specified per configuration.

Walk-in chambers are configured for the customer’s test program; TestEQ equipment is designed with reference to GB, GJB, IEC, ASTM and UL test standards.
